Hi,

I'm using around +15 years old tape reader software which only works in XP 32-Bit OS and it's starting to come to the end of the road, and I need to find other tools.

What tools do you recommend for reading data tapes?

TIA!

I have no experience with tapes and with other OS I would use zfs send/receive and pipe to tar.

http://www.amanda.org/ seems to support tapes and Windows, but I would guess reading must involve the software/format on the tapes. You can't read "just tape".
