Hi there,
I got this SD-Card, it's visible in Windows and it's readable in most DR program.
But I always got corrupted files, except when I use WinHex....then I get some picures look like this:

Attachment:
File aa 1675_2.jpg
File aa 1675_2.jpg [ 23.23 KiB | Viewed 15866 times ]
[/img]

Always like preview picture, 160x120.
The corupted files is in their original size...2-3mb....but not visible in any program...
I have tried RMP, Stellar Fat/Ntfs, WinHex....
But as I'm a newbee at WinHex, I have only tried the recovery part......not "fiddle around" myself with different solutions.

Any help would be appreciated.

Best Regards

Bosse

I think this is very possible, Bosse.
Any other fault would make reading impossible or give complete corruption.

I suggest..

Make an image of the card with Winhex.

Remove and reinsert the card

Make another image.

Compare the two.

If there are any differences, then a bad joint is quite possibly the fault.

IMHO of course ;-)

Thanks Sean,
I did try that but there was no difference in the images.
I'm going to talk with the client if it's ok with him that I could it apart and try resolder it.
Will keep you posted on this.

Dear Sir/Maam

Some of the case could be repaired by desoldering
and put memory chips in the adaptor .
We can reorganize data without controller
