 Post subject: What part is broken ?

Dear : all

I have USB Kingston Data Traveler 4 GB. It detect Removable Disk in Windows and on the propertis the controller detect SKYMEDI USB Drive USB Device , the lamp is on and off for every one second and continuesly and I want to ask "What part is broken ? bad join at the controller or bad controller. (please see the a picture)

In disk manager, is it seen as 4Gb or 0 bytes?

It is seen as unreadable, three days ago I have some problem with my trascend 2 GB and I can repair it with only hot air gun that I applied at controller to repair bad join.

You cant really tell from the light flashing as it will flash under a number of failures..

It could be the crystal oscillator - this is biggerest problem in these devices.

If you need the data, then search google for

data recovery dead memory

in your country, there are a few companies around the world that can do this.
