 Post subject: ST4000DM004 - can't change head map / set max head

Hi Gurus.

This drive spins up, clicking two times and spins down with ready state + ABR but IDs fine.

Terminal output is following:

Probably it's bad heads, so i read ROM via "utility extensions-> work with flash rom" and tried to do log/phys head map editing/set max head to 0 in ROM but always get following error "Can Not Set up Head Map Info".

Can anybody help ?

As far as I know, this model is not supported for head map yet.

this one is V11, not natively supported by pc3k, but i have solution to work with it.
