Thanks Sean and Pepe,

I Start to clone just with head 0, i could clone it about 2 224 366 sectors, but now i can not get the disk ID with the umda, i have saved the FW to the database when the disk was reading, is possible that head 0 is gone also ?

Thanks
ZeBong

can be.

I would check the condition of heads and the platter.

I had come across 30 to 50 similar situations. I think the problem is platter damage. You try to swap new head stack and forced read, eventually all will be crashed.

You may try this:

Start up the pc3K. Leave the menu screen on.
Start DE. Select read mode to be "utility".

While capturing the image, if you see red/black bitmap, do to PC3K util and do a query on util status or perform a read rom.
If the condition permits, you may be able to capture some data before it failed completely.
When you do such switching, system will hang so need to be patient.

I only had some success in a few cases and hope this will work for you too.

If you swap in new head stack, you may get a bit more or you may crash the new head stack. Not much option left now.
This Hitachi Model is not a favorable model for DR company
