Hello,

new challenge, got a drive with burnt PCB - so i swapped it to new PCB (only thing changed: Rev A is now Rev P1 don't think it's the problem)

tried to boot normaly, but drive only shows the Modelnumber (No serial, no MB, not FW) - only ROM FW - so ROM Should be OK :)

So i tried a loader - Permant overlay loaded...

ROM Head map is 01234567 but RAM Head map all time 0000000

Not sure if the heads are gone, but they are looking fine under microscope.

So i think it's Software Problem.

After LDR is loaded i can NOT do any tests, head test failure.

The disk spins down, but if i click something it spins up again.

For now my only idea would be a donor drive, trying to read out modules, and do a hot swap...

other suggestions?
