I recently bought a PC-3000 UDMA am struggling to understand it. It's a genuine registered PC-3000 UDMA albeit an old version and I have successfully registered it to myself with ACE labs.

I am able to do a raw recovery of a hard drive but obviously this just gives me thousands of files that my client would like to have back as the original file names and folder structures.

Can anyone please give me any pointers as to how to do this? The version of PC-3000 I have is very old and pre-dates the hard drive in terms of running utility functions specific to the drive and I do not as of yet have the money to be able to update, although after enough successful recoveries I will have the capital to aim my advertising more towards data recovery and will then look at upgrading and perhaps going on one of ACE's training courses should it be necessary.

Many thanks in advance for any responses.

Did you get the data extractor software with it?, Known as DE or did you just get the board?.
