 Post subject: WD External Drive

Hi,

I hope you are doing great.

What would be the best way to communicate this drive with PC3000.

This drive has a embedded USB connection to the drive and it does not have a SATA connection or any other, but, it has a connection of 12 pins in one side and 2 in other.

Connected through USB gives IO errors.

Attached picture of connections.

You can replace the PCB to sata or use WDC Marvell USB/COM

have you replaced the HSA already ?

No, I have not replaced HSA.

AceLabs recommended me to connect a SATA connector as the drive is USB 3.0
