MAXTOR HDD PCB Replacement!!!

I hope you are doing great.

I have this MAXTOR which had the PCB damaged and need help to make it work with the new HDD i got to get the new PCB.

Please find OLD HDD Info:
Model: 2B020H1
HDA: 11B
PCBA: 11A
UNIQUE: 11C
CODE: WAK21R90

NEW HDD Info:
Model: 2B020H1
HDA: 11A
PCBA: 05A
UNIQUE: 11A
CODE: WAH21PB0

You want to replace the PCB or HSA ?
If PCB, Maxtor doesn't unique adaptive on the PCB .

Thank you for the reply.

I want to replace PCB.

I just swapped the PCB but it is not working in PC3000.

It is giving an error that is not recognizing the HDD.

Hello olinyer, may a ask you a question? Why did you open the hdd? Did it make some noise? I assume that you are not connecting the hdd opened...I am right?
