Hi, HGST sas disk id reading but not read sector.

Hi, HGST sas disk id reading but not read sector. Modules firm, error message is as follows:

If the drive is good, then it should work outside PC3K environment. If it is not, then PC3K is telling the truth. Always recommended to run tests with good drives with whatever hardware/software being used to ensure config is correct. |

Have you opened the drive to make sure there is no platter damage? Some of the SAS drives have a habit of becoming ready without platter access... when there is platter damage. And boy, when those things go they go. Does the drive click? Scraping sounds when you listen to it with a stethoscope? |
