I'm recovering data from NTFS partitions in raw mode.
Is it normal that it takes out extremely slowly? Within five hours it has been scaned only 20M sectors (whole drive 3900 M sectors)
The HDD is ok.

There is no error in the SMART. Binary copy speed is about 15-35 MB/s into the file. Also to slow.

I lost my patience. After 2 days scanned Data Extractor scanned only 600M sectors.
For comparison PhotoRec in 8 hours passed 55% of the disk i.e. about 1 TB.
Where is the problem with the DE?

PhotoRec is running at 38 MB/s whereas DE is achieving less than 2 MB/s. Is it possible that DE is stuck in PIO mode?
