the last part keep repeating forever

Pending process + scratch panel updating. You can wait till it finish, but better to use terminal commands in order to switch-off background processes.

Not quite sure, but this may help: To get the terminal and to work with service area read the ROM in Boot Code, then unlock techno-mode, write changes and restart drive. Then unlock the drive prepared by utility and press Ctrl+Z (many times right after unlocking) And don't forget to save 28!

save 28,35,1B uncheck 93 dont clear SMART its Rosewood. 346 backup as well.

This Issue can be solved editing drive config. With PC3000 you can edit drive parameters. if you dont have PC3K from a term session check those useful commands ( they really work ! ) https://www.data-medics.com/forum/seaga ... -t901.html

Own a Dell 7779, by far the worst laptop I have ever owned in my life. 100% disk usage, hasn't worked right since the day I bought it, I have a 100% Walmart tablet windows 10 laptop that runs faster then this Dell I paid over $1100 for.
