Post subject:  WD unlocker with PC3K?

Hello,
Got a drive that needed heads to be changed. As i also swaped PCB to have a SATA one i got a question if WD drive unlock password can be used to access data and modules or it must be run from original PCB to get access? Didn't find any option to dectrypt data with the password in PC3K.
Drive ID's fine but can't save modules or access sectors as it gives VSC ERR Security drive is locked.

No, it doesn't find the key and i can't see any option to add password manualy. The password is set via WD security app.

What model drive is it? I've heard there's a few new ones that PC-3000 doesn't yet support the encryption, but I've yet to actually see one.

I guess i wrote it wrong. There's an application on those WD to secure HDD, called WD Security. I thought there is a connection between this program and SED but i guess not. Anyway i used the app to remove the password, and data was cloned.
