Hello everybody I have a case Seagate ST500DM002 drive. It can spin up, producing some unusual sounds while initializing (not head clicking) and stays at BSY state, no ID no service area access. I can not work with terminal. Does anybody have any knowledge or advice for this situation? Thank you..

you can change PCB and also you can test your HDD head (change head map in Rom) maybe some of your head was failed

Thank you for your interest hamidbid. I have tried PCB changing and head replacement but it didnt work anyway. you should hold short point for 5 and sometimes 10 minutes to access to terminal
