Post subject:  Manually Uploading WD Encryption Key

I have a drive that cannot find the encryption key as the sectors look blank. This is a new fiirmware bug that Ace is working on. However I do have a copy of the SA. I presume I upload the encryption module (25) into the decryption windows. However if I select either 'Add From Folder' or 'Add From File' and select 25.rpm, nothing shows in the window?

Drive is a WD40NMZW. Do you mean the last version of PC3000?

michael chiklis has a good tutorial with manual work: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_qrs7Pg ... e=youtu.be
I tested on a few WD drives. It works well.

AFAIK decryption for Spyglass is not supported by PC3K

It's not the key problem but translation

it works like flash or ssd translator. if you have translated LBA - drive reading and return data, if not translated - return zeroes, because no info about data placement

But wouldn't that return an ABRT or AMNF error?
