Hello. I've seen a few posts on here about the 100% Disk Usage issue among others, none of the solutions however have worked for me. I am at a loss currently. My computer is running slower than ever before and I can barely do basic tasks.
My computer is currently:
nVidia GTX 770
Intel i7 4820k
16GB Ram
1TB HDD
Win10 64bit
What i've done:
disabled superfetch/windows search
Skype is uninstalled
Google chrome auto prediction disabled
Updated Windows
Updated all drivers
Please don't say its cause my computer is outdated, this just started overnight. I turned my computer on and poof, 100% usage all day today. If anyone has any clues, it's much appreciated.

sounds like you may have malware - like a cryptocurrency miner installed. These mine some shitcoin causing cpu to max out.

Could be a faulty application, corruption or something as well.

try using utility like procmon.

you can use the principles from somewhere like here to find the process causing trouble.
