Hello,

Just got stuck with this Hitachi drive. It had one bad head. I got 100% of the other. Changed heads, and it was reading well for a while. It stoped at some point and now i can't read anything more in DE. But i can read the same sector in utility. Quick test shows that this head can read. The only problem i found is SMART. One copy is bad. And i can't check SMART at all. But it was the same earlier. All crucial modules are ok escept AMPM, HLR1,HLR2 which are yellow. Any hints?

I am not sure if it supports this particular model, but did you try to read with the Active Utility?

I did. I found that it's heads problem. It doesn't read in donor too. My mistake was that i took sector address from DE and put it in utility. I forgot that it's not the same when you use physical sector size, not logical.
