Greetings

We have a WD Palmer 2.5" that we used an unlocked pcb to gain access to the user area with the help of TS support. There is a scan going on in the data extractor with decryption on but it is extremely slow (It will take around half a year if it doesn't change pace) TS support advised us to rewrite 32 SA module from the compatible donor profile (same family name and same f/w version). It is a rather rare drive, we dont have any donors. Does anyone have a healthy one that we can download off somewhere?

Model : WDC WD10SPZX-22Z10T0
Serial : WD-WXR1A47CH2N6
Firmware : 01.01A01
Capacity : 1 000 GB (1 953 525 168)
ROM F/W version......................... : 0002000J
FlDir:.................................. : 20B
Phys - SA C:............................ : 512 (490)
UA:..................................... : 435 901
H:...................................... : 2/2
S:...................................... : 1 944
Family:................................. : Palmer 2.5"
Src..................................... : ATA0
Arh:.................................... : Marvell ROYL 20B
Mode:................................... : Normal
........................................ :

Thanks in advance

I had one this week that looked like “slow responding” but turned out to be weak heads. Put new heads in and it cloned very quickly.

With the original heads it did clone, but at a snails pace!

The drive is encrypted so I thought it was an issue with the processing speed of the computer that we we installed PC3000 but now I'm thinking it is a head problem as well.

I just want to try the non invasive option first :)

Be aware that building head map of these is tricky these days...
