Other than the faster speed for data saving and disk cloning, does the new PC-3000 UDMA support a lot more disk models compared to the PC-3000 PCI?

They added the models supported by the dos version, and also the new models from Hitachi and Maxtor and others.

I have the UDMA PC3000, and I actually quite like it. Faster cloning speeds, stable simultaneous recovering through ATA0 and ATA1, support for very old western digitals, 3.5" fujitsu, Quantum, support for Maxtors SABRE, SABRE2, SHASTA, N40P SATA. It is activated with activation instead of a licence so no need to keep mailing acelab for licence request!!

But Starling is right, there are some new bugs, and they can be quite annoying. Seems like a much better product, just released a few months premature :-(

Hi,
U know what I miss from all this PC3k thing?
CHS cloning is impossible -> U cannot use it for small drives not supporting LBA.
This is not very frequent, but sometimes needed.
I suppose it would not be a hard thing to implement in DE, but they told me not to even dream of it.
