This message is sick,

and ACELab team you are con artists. why?

During many years of the support on your forum you only answer
about 25% of questions and then some "yuriy" proves to know less
than many beginners and he is answering most questions.
His answers in many cases were wrong and often misleading but
at least he did apologise for telling lies quite a few times.

I could write a book about the very bad support I read there on
your technical support forums.

Your english technical manuals are just a joke : .... and

Why not tell potential users that +90% of Seagate drive faults
cannot be repaired by PC3000 cause they just physical or electronic
faults.

If you serious about your customers, I suggest you make good contact
with all legal users of PC3000-PCI for Windows and keep your promise for
updates not delivered during 2006 to "summer" of 2007 (for free !)

So nice to hear your sweet response,

your support response level is below 25% and that's about
as good as it has ever been.

You claim to be leader of new technologies, but the true fact
is you actually behind most developers.

You were way behind others with IBM - Hitachi security solutions.
(in fact when others had the solution you still believed it could not
be done) This technology you did not develop - you know where
you got it from and then you could not API it probably in your program.

You were way behind others with maxtor SABRE and SATA drives,
only because you work with families.

Right now you stop with a particluar HTS541 Hitachi drive and others
have solutions for much newer drives.

You so confused about how to name Maxtor "modules" so now with
UDMA you have tried 4th different module name format.

You were way behind others with WD Marvell release and still today
your app is flawed. Many your users making clicking WD's by pressing
one button - "regen translator".

I could just go on and on about so much more.

so sorry, as I have written long time ago :

Some expert once wrote :

"PC3000 is like walking on crutches"

To coffeebean:
Reading between the lines of your post , it would appear that
maybe there are alternatives to PC3000..
Do you know of such alternatives , and are they available to
the DR community , or are they just "in House" utilities of some Dr shops ?
If there is in fact other alternatives available to the DR community
I , and I'm sure others would love to know of them .

Thanks in Advance
Steve

hi,Steve 8)
As far as i say,one of them we could consider is Salvation's,i have noted their DR&RP products especially Seageat model, much more efficiently than other tools in current market after trying it out, besides.you dont need to master commands and actions which make me nearly crazy
just click your mouse :ookay:
the other aspect i emphasized is TS for their users, their technicians will respond timely via internet for the user working with legal copy.

Hi Steve,

I was not thinking about salvationdata,

they so brilliant, like uri geller they can fix a drive even it is not connected.

Try their freebie, run program and press "FIX" (with no drive connected)
Program will report drive fixed - that's really funny - so they just beginning
to get to beta stage.

Yep, there are some very, very clever people and they all way ahead..
You need to find them and they need to trust you - more I cannot say.

Hi Guys
At this point i suggest ace need to change there support policy ( If they want to keep leadership position) All my friends will agree on 2 points -

1) Technical support should and must be free for all registered users.
2) FTP must be free for licensed users.

If they continued with there Corporate type of policies , many alternates will come up ( already solutions are in beta stage). This will be risky for ace.

http://www.dataclinic.co.uk/index.html

This and many other are developng alternates to pc3000.
Thanks

Hi Hddbug,

Thanks for the mention. The exact page for the Diskmaster tool is:

http://www.dataclinic.co.uk/data-recove ... e-tool.htm

Please note that it's not ready for sale yet - we are currently in beta test, and will be demonstrating the tool from Q1 2008.

Best regards,

Chris

Hi Chris,

congratulations on your initiative, but.... you off to a very bad start (writing untruths)

you got some case studies on your site and you make a claim :

"ATA password protected, no commercially available means of bypassing the password"

This is a false claim because even pc3000 can solve this problem for both
Seagate ST96812A 5400.2 and also Fujitsu MHU2100AT

besides any half clever DR can solve both problems using free programs.

Hi ACE Team

Are there any reasons why pricing structures different from Country to Country?

Hello everyone,

That is opportunity of each person to decide which product they are going to use in data recovery field.

We don't discuss any technical questions and possibilities according PC-3000 products here, as we are not sure if these products original or not.
We are strongly recommend do not use any piracy versions, because they are not stable and has much less options as original one, which destroy HDD and at the same time user data. Please, take care about customer's data.

You are always welcome to discuss questions according PC-3000 and Data Recovery methods at ACELaboratory forum if you are registered user and send email messages to us.

best regards,
ACELab team

Hi ACELab team,

Hellooooo ------- nobody ask you to discuss technical questions and possibilities here.

you rip off your customers with useless UDMA as update to PCI version - that's the point.

then you suggest honest, hard-working people to "take care about customers' data"
when you take no care about your customers money and loyalty.

Just like your forums you failed to answer any questions in this thread.

I too am upset that ACE has left PCI owners stranded with no FTP or Forum access unless they upgrade to UDMA. I have paid over $4000 Euros for the PC-3000 PCI and suddenly when the UDMA version came out i was told i have to pay about $600 EUROs per year ongoing for support (which i don't really need) but i did read the forums for knowledge and i did use the FTP resoruces.

I would haved liked to see at least the ability to access the forums and FTP as before without the upgrade to UDMA.

As for the prices...that's nothing new, many large companies set different prices worldwide - look at companies like OnTrack and CBL, do you think they charge the same price for data recovery in China as they do in the UK? The price is usually set based on the local average ability to pay a set price - car makers do the same. But it is very unfair..that's business. Not much we can do, you either have to buy the PC-3000 or live without it.
