Why would u need to do hot swap?

Hi pcimage!

extually i have a wd hard drive WD400BB - 75CLB0 and i have need data. when i give only give it up power hard drive did not spin at all. its motor ic is damage. i want to replace its pcb. please give me some information how i change the pcb. because when i change the pcb and give the power hard is cliking noise.

easy!
solder the born motor IC(please pay more attention to the parameter printed,should be special for WD brand) from the bad PCB and get a identical good one insteaded.if you not sure you can do it on you own,ask somebody who can to help you,just pay a little meony after that . :P

After changing the pcb u also need to solder orignal ROM on the new pcb .
