Dear Sirs, and Mams,

I have research this forum, and have not actually found a way to retrieve SMART ATT for SCSI U2W or any SCSI HDD's.

TRIED THE FOLLOWING:

1. MHDD = Does not support FAST ERASE OR SMART ATT.
2. VIVARD = SMART not support, but fast erase is.

Could someone point me in the right direction? Is there a freeware application that will reflect the number of "Reallocated Sectors count" ect.

Please get back to me on this if possible.

Thank you very much,

balchund

there is no "Reallocated Sectors count" on SCSI drives
but you can see SMART with hddscan - http://hddscan.com

I know this is annoying, but what is the reason behind SCSI not having "Allocated Sectors?" If you don't mind answering.

Thank you very much.
