Good day gurus,

I am not having much luck finding resources for Quantum Fireball Plus AS drives. I am looking for the ROM an the MCU. Does anyone know where on the PCB the ROM is located if applicable? Pictures would be helpful.

Thanks

ROM is usually inside the MCU apart from a few exceptions when not :)
in these cases it is located near the IDE connector.
I have no pictures and just don't like to take some at the moment as my camera is not with me, but it should not be so hard to find the place of a serial flash :)

pepe

In AS the Rom is in the cpu, if present there's external SPI for patching. What's the problem?
