Hi all,

I've a 7200.10 here with burned combo and 12V TVS. Before I evaluate my chances that the preamp has survived, I'd like to make sure the criteria for swapping PCBs. I have one from a drive with the same model number, but the Agere chip has a slightly differenz number. Would I have to swap the 512kByte serial flash?

You need to match the PCB version, and yes, you should swap the ROM as well.
Different MCU is a bad sign.
