fyi... i'm using a dell 5150 dimension and everything seems to work fine, especially since the 3.02+ upgrades.

If I read the manual right, DDI comes with a compatible add in card, is there a draw back to using the card?

not that i know of -- in fact i think it makes the DDI more compatible, as long as you have a pci card slot, tho there may be a warning about some kind of specific motherboard in the manual. *i have the pci card version.

Hmm, the manual says:
Nvidia nForce: "works best with the DeepSpar Disk Imager."
Add in card: "works well with the DeepSpar Disk Imager."

Guru opinions?

This was the answer I just got from DeepSpar:
"There doesn’t seem to be a difference between NVIDIA chipset motherboard and the card we currently supply with every DDI"

I don't use the PCI card as I find it slower than the motherboard directly.

I use the ASUS M3N78-VM
