I'd like to be able to save and restore the SA (service area) on an older Seagate drive to help in my reverse engineering.
I don't really need everything, mainly just the firmware modules.
I've seen threads on how to do this for WD but can't seem to find this info for Seagate drives.

It looks like I should be able to use the SeDiv tool but it doesn't appear to have a particular profile for my drive.
Also I would like to know the details anyhow so I could wrote my own simple tool.
I'd prefer to do it through TTL serial since this older drive has the full command set available, but an ATA vendor specific command
way would work too.

Thanks in advance,
