Hi, Can anyone tell me the proper name or description for this:

I have done a search for many different terms such as slotted post, standoff, pcb crew etc and cant find anything. I want them as small as possible, the bottome being solderable or screwable to a PCB.

Anyone seen anywhere that sells stuff like this?
Thanks & cheers

Pem nuts are similar. See the item "Self-Clinching Spinning Nut 1013" at the bottom of this page: http://www.pemnet.com/comp_lit_files/

Thanks Larry, I'll go through the catalogue :) quite tricky to Google for something you don't know the name for! I did a reverse image search and ended up with fish, lampshade and a starfish :)

Good luck, Brian. Also look at what Keystone offers. Here's a thread where someone was looking for something similar. Perhaps they will suggest search terms that help; many of the links mentioned are dead now.
