This should be added to the Knowledge base :

On this guide I'm going to show how to read and write Seagate F3 Arch Sys Files (Firmware Modules) by using HyperTerminal and a TTL adaptor only ! No need to acquire expensive firmware tools !

Please do note that this procedure works with some F3 Arch drives but it will not work on all of them. Only some models support the r and w commands.

The following guide might be of use in cases where some sys files needs to be replaced and the user doesn't have access to expensive firmware tools.
