DOD wipe fibre channel drives

January 19th, 2016, 9:48

Hello Guys,

I need to find the easiest way to connect Fibre Channel hard drives and be able to detect them in a windows system. My propose is to DOD formatting the content of this hard drives.
I have some equipment already that I´m not sure if I can use.
1x EMC CX-2PDAE-FD 15 bay fibre channel
1x Qlogic QLE 2460 with LC connection
3x SPF to LC transceivers
3x LC to LC fiber channel cables

Not knowing if its possible at all my idea was to connect the enclosure to a win10 desktop and be able to detect the drive by the system and wipe them off.
I´m not a knowledge guy in this king of systems.
Hope some one can assist me with this one.

Regards.

Hello,

The link is not working already :(

http://www.ebay.com/itm/151897725227?_t ... EBIDX%3AIT
I found this at eBay. Anyone have one of this ?

My idea was to build a better and faster solution.. a way to wipe several drives at the same time.

Anyone have a similar FC enclosure system?

Thanks
