What Seagate drives ? ST-10 or F3 ARCH ?
ST-10 (7200.10 and OLDER) are diferent from F3 ARCH (7200.11 and Newer).
Instead of starting with VSCs that no-one will provide to you unless you "sniff" them out of commercial tools if available (even MRT/PC-3000 will use terminal / TTL for the majority of ST-10 operations) you can start by TTL commands ...http://www.hddoracle.com/viewtopic.php?f=46&t=192http://www.hddoracle.com/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=193http://www.hddoracle.com/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=2http://www.hddoracle.com/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=3
