Works for experienced people. Have used this method on drives without specialized tools for more than 10 years.
Inexperienced people can screw up easily.

i agree with you and i know it.
but this is Pebble and SpyGlass new series 4TB 5 platters hard drive. i think some DR persons doesn't have this kind of specialized tool yet. this is DIY . i shared my experience and it would be a help to someone who hasn't specialized this kind of head tool.
also i have mentioned that use with carefully. beside someone willing to swap heads who needs well experiance. so if someone has specialized tools without experience and skill result is zero.
