I have the HD seems to be working internally just fine but the heads dont seem to be reading correctly. And the USB adaoter from the WD Passport doesnt seem to be making good connection with the Main Board. So i figured i need to replace the main board for a good one and recover my data. After that i can either trash it or doante it. ANy one here WIlling to HELP.

I dont know if ineed exactly the same model HD maybe this board has been used on other drives as well?
