Unlike you I am not a H/W guy. I took it to my friend and he did the investigation. He removed the HDD out of Lacia cabinet and tried to connect it as SATA drive . It was unable to detect. It was also making sound because earlier it feel out of my lap. So what my friend decided that take the similar kind of HDD and then mirror to get the data out of the drive. Is there any other way to recover the data ?

Thanks,
Funtoosh
