Dear Sir,
I may be interested in purchasing the Data Compass, if it is still for sale and the price is right. I already own the HPE PRO and the 4 piece HD Doctor Suite that I purchased last year from Salvation Data. What version is the Data Compass and how much are you asking for it? I own and run a part time data recovery business, so I am always looking for additional equipment to improve my recovery business. I do not do RAID recoveries, so the standard DC version would be fine.

How much would you guys pay for a 2nd hand Data compass?

And how much for a case filled with 4 hd doctors?

Perhaps I will sell mine?

Feel free to pm or post it right here.

Thank you

Hi all,

I still have the Data Recovery tools for sale.

Namely, the following Salvation Data tools:

DATA COMPASS , Used For: Duplication/Imaging, and Partition/File Recovery.
HD DOCTOR DRIVE restoration Suite

I'll throw in the Head Platter/Exchanger Pro for free.

I am eager to sell these.

Please contact me to discuss price.

I'll wait until next week before I sell these on Ebay.

Serious offers only please!

Thank you.

I'm pretty sure SD operate a license transfer fee... may pay you guys to check this one out before considering to purchase as this fee may push your purchase price above the cost of new tools.

Well, whats the use of lic. transfer if you have access to their forum (never been helpful for me)
in addition to plenty of bugs (never been fixed yet)
in addition to once every AGES they release updates

for me, in my point of view, i cannot drive a KIA after testing and got used to the Ferarri (after long time)
but again

KIA is a good car (just an example) and again SD tools solves many problems but really not ALL

You may have noticed recently that updates are being processed by the account managers, and once you have verified yourself you will receive a small file via email from your account manager to complete the software update.

But like yourself, I no longer drive a Kia......

Steve.

Hi all, I had emailed Selina (From Salvation Data) a while back, and there wouldn't be an issue with transfering the equipment to the new owner.

I have all the original paperwork/Licence files for the tools.

Send me a message to discuss any specific questions/pricing.

Thank you.

There might not be an issue, but does the new owner need to "buy" support or pay anything to SD? I don't think they can just take over your tools and license without paying them. I'd love to be wrong though
