I'm an entrepreneur and I bought one of these a year and a half(?) ago to start (yet another) business. Never got that far though, so now I'm selling it.

It's been out of the box maybe 5 times, I've restored 1 usb memory stick with it with the help of Roman at Ace's office. I'm simply doing so much else that I don't have time to learn how to use it, and quite frankly I've lost interest.

I have all receits and paperwork, and I've been in contact with Ace Labs about selling it. No problem, they said, only the buyer had to purche one year of support from them. That will off course be decucted (is that the right word?) from the sales price.

I don't have the paperwork in front of me right now, but I think I paid about 2200 euros for it. Not sure what I can expect to get for it though.

Anyone interested?

So, you are saying that the new buyer of your PC3K FLash reader will pay you approximately $1200 and then also about $1000 for one year of tech support to Ace lab, is this correct?

When I talked to Ace the price was no where close to that high. I believe the price I got was ~$450 or something like that. Did they tell you the support costs $1000, because that's something else than they told me. I remember, because I was surprised by how "cheap" it was.

I paid about 2200 euros for it, or about $3100. Things kinda change if Ace's support is that expensive, but what I was thinking about was a total of $500 off since it's used (though very little so) and minus the $450 for the support. Ends up around $2000 for it.

Since I'm obviously way off, how much does it cost to purchase one of these if you live in the states?

I think there is a new version released since then, or will be very soon, so it may unfortunately lower the value.

The current price in USD of PC-3000 Flash SSD Edition is $2685 + $150 shipping. One year of support is currently $900.

I would be interested, if it was on eBay, and depending on the price.

Oh that kinda sucks. I knew I was going to lose money but not that much. But I'm not doing anything with it anyway so I should probably get rid of it as soon as possible. Hmm I think I must see how the market is in my country first; I think perhaps I'll get a little more for it if I sell it to someone back home.

That being said, if it doesn't work out, I wouldn't mind putting it on eBay if that makes it easier for people to purchase etc.

I'll check the market back here the next few days and then I'll let you know how it works out.

Ace Labs confirmed that it's $900 for tech support.

It's version 6.2.1. Not sure how much the age (~1.5-2 years) matters even if the newest version is 6.4.

How much? Like I have to give it away almost for free?

How often do they make updates to the hardware anyway? How often do they expect people to purchase a new PC3000?

I would like to purchase PC 3000 SSD. Is it really $10k? Is there a personal/no commercial version? I'm only going to use it on one drive in a home computer.
