I have this DiamondMax 21 hard drive that decided to stop working. When you plug it into the PSU, the whole system shuts down. I took the circuit board off the HDD and plugged it in by itself; same result.

Anyway, I'm looking for a replacement for the board. Any help with this is greatly appreciated.

On the chip it reads:
- ST MV08BB
- 100404195
- V470BB16ETR
- 96613019
- AA145
- TWN 99,626

Back Side:
- 100406538 REV A

Check the two black TVS diodes, bottom right of your photo.

Search this forum for "TVS" for further details.

It might save you buying a new PCB :-)

Thanks for the info, guys.

The 5V diode marked below is showing <1 ohms in both directions. I guess it's time to pull that sucker. The other diode is showing ~600 ohms in one direction and 0 in the other. Probably fine?
