What is the preamp version? You will likely find a 4 head model with the same preamp that should work...and be easier to find and cheaper to buy.

Agree, use a 2Tb version. I do this all the time :-)

Thanks very much for the help. This drive has damaged heads. Is there still a way to get preamp version?
