If this seller tells you it is still for sale, I would be very wary. I sent him money after making a deal for this 3 days ago and have not had a reply to numerous emails since then. Luckily i paid through paypal, so I will be filing a complaint thru them if i don't hear back from him soon.

Everyone watch out for this guy. I paid him through paypal for these products and have not heard from him since.

I have since filed a claim with paypal and will hopefully get back the money I lost.

This person is a scammer!! BEWARE!!

Nah I dont have the auction number. It looks familiar to me because the story about a cancelled computer shop and the same picture were in the auction. I remember talking to Laura at Salvationdata when I saw it on EBay. She may have it in her yahoo instant message logs. Mine unfortunately was not set up to record im messages.

Well, I opened a case with yahoo security about this guy's account. I have a claim going with paypal to try and get my money back, and I emailed the webmaster at his ISP that the emails came from to report the fraud.

What do expect? Probably not much. The ISP is in Indonesia. I have pretty much determined that my money is gone. Hard lesson learned. Now I have to start saving again for some data recovery equipment.

Any suggestions?

$900. Yeah tough lesson learned. Not like it's my first day on the internet. I guess I should have known better.

Anyone reputable have any gently used Salvation products they are selling??

yeah that's what it looks like to me. Laura if you can help out at all, I would appreciate it.

Paypal already settled the claim in my favor, however, they have been unable to recover any of my money from him. I am still out the cash.

Thanks!

Ohh My god !!!

Sorry I missed this thread. I bought this equipment more than a month ago Luckily I received Everything as it was describe. I never had time to test it out ... he was suppose to send me activation number by email witch he never did ...

Laura the number on Dongle is 6794.

If you are buying from people you don't know on the internet ask them to send you a detail invoice (payment request) from paypal. Then it's always easier to get refund.

Hope it helps

Hello Group,

By the way I bought those product by curiosity(With in mind I can always sell them back if I don't like them) so many people are bitching about Salvation product I haven't try Maxtor And Seagate Doctor yet. But I had time to try the Power Data extractor on a Maxtor with a slow motor I couldn't manage to get the data with Dupplicator (Computer was hanging) and PC3K was always go on and off this product managed to image the drive without power control I was really surprise.
Laura if you have a chance can you tell me what the three power connector that goes out of the dongle is use for I red manual and I can't find any purpose ?

Hope it helps

Not really true. The only way paypal will guarantee your purchase is if you make it through ebay. Otherwise, if a claim is decided in your favor (as mine was) they will "attempt to recover funds". If the funds aren't available in the user's paypal account, most likely you are SOL.
