As per the news, the 2nd Data Compass demo is going to be held in New Jersey, USA on February 17, 2009.
Why I have created this topic is for fellow members from NJ, if anyone can attend them, and get actually what the crap is behind the curtains.

Especially, rchadwik, I think, you can go and watch out.
It becomes important for us as the biggest critics of salvationdata ever.. :)

Until SD fixes its current tools I fail to see why anyone would purchase DC no matter how good it looks. Im really getting tired of resizing the program screen and disabling my antivirus everytime I want to use it. Forgetting the tools I currently own is not going to get my money.

Its not a problem with DC. The virus problem is with the usb driver for WD and Seagate doctors. It detects the usb driver as a virus.

I just found out about it today. Wish I had known, as I'm only a half hour drive away, but won't be able to make it. I'll have to check out the next one, if they have one (And if lunch is free again :D ). The owner bought a bunch of gaming workstations a little while ago, so there's plenty of space for 15 or so. I was a little surprised he became a Salvation dealer. They are basically a PC Parts place. Haven't heard until recently that they do DR.

Well, whoever goes, keep a running count on how many times DC crashes :)
