 Post subject: Strange Seagate Problem

PCB blown from customers p/s. Power spike burned the TVS, Smooth, and -5v mosfet. Reprogrammed donor pcb but got knocking. Loader from donor produced knocking. MHA was replaced and drive got to level T but stays busy. All modules read correctly. Any suggestions would be apreciated. Thanks.

had a LOG similiar like that and i just could read some data with no CRC control with the UMDA DE.

but in your case

i think is easy with UDMA.

I think Problems is with Heads.

Check media to make sure you don't have a scratch before replacing heads again.
