I think that thatdellguy is trying to bring attention to how far behind things are, and that SD will see this and do something or at least give feedback.

There is no way to bring SD attention...they don't replay on there's forum. They have one way communication, we complain they don't answer.

flash doctor dead as a dodo bird

maxtor drive dead as a dodo bird

hdd doctor setup $3,000

ouch money burn in your wallet

they more likely support the Asian market as they don't have to translate the programs into english

Fixing some bugs would take just few hours including test. If they were really interested, I would give them a complete report and the solution. Then they could recompile the installation package or the .exe for download.

Sadly, it’s going to come to a point where SD is so far behind its competitors that it can’t keep up and just disappears. Unfortunately, this time may have already passed with the lack of promised updates.

Can anybody say what the current update status is.

I might be interested in one of the products but going by the original post the last update was nearly 3 years ago.

Seems like they missed their own update / upgrade schedule again for Flashdoctor and maybe Datacompass :!:

I think that the point is Luke, nobody actually got what they paid for, or were promised.....

Just my opinion - and experience...

"SalvationDATA will attend the Computer Forensic Show 2013"
"SalvationDATA Director Kenneth Liang will also appear at that show."
"Don't miss this opportunity to meet face-to-face with SalvationDATA decision maker in a relaxed setting."
http://www.salvationdata.com/news/20130419.htm

If your in NewYork and can attend, please ask Mr. Liang when he plans to update these cutting edge latest and greatest obsolete outdated tools.

I wouldn't trust anything Mr. Liang were to say anyway ! SD has proven time after time they are not interested in providing a quality product or quality support and software updates updated manuals to any of their products. They have proven time after time with their own posts in their own forum and press releases about software updates that never have been released up to today. I guess we can all hold our breath and see a slew of releases at the show ? I wouldn't take that bet myself. They sure want to sell you their products its a scam ! They celebrate getting one over on you ! That's the culture of their business.
