Hi all,
just thought I would let all you guys that have been waiting for a new software update the heads up so you can see if it any better than v6.

read about the promises and download it at : http://forum.salvationdata.com/viewtopic.php?f=57&t=3390

I think "encryption chips" was meant to say "controller chips"
I wonder how they deal with XOR

Thanks SD, I will test and see how it fares...
cheers

I'll get my team to play with the update and see if it has any hope of successfully recovering something for us. Thus far, it is batting at 000. That is why we use SC and PC3K-Flash here...and SD just collects dust.

I got a Seagate doctor and a data compass sitting here doing the same thing. Everything I ever purchased from SD was a total waste of money and time. I have no confidence in anything SD has to offer, past present or future.

would be interesting to hear if they actually got something right for a change though

i think salvation data likes to support the asian market only and not the north american market.

they already have a new version of flash doctor out in china.
but no english version
which is a shame.
