Hi,

I have a WD3200BPTV 320Gb HDD. I can access the partitiions under DC but the data read is very slow. When I hard restart the gives me a few seconds of normal read time but then it comes to a dead slow. I suspect a head problem. Is there any other ideas or ways I can speed up the process without changing heads/parts?

Thanks,
Mario

If you stops the drive for a while (for example 30 min) and you reanude reading, you get more time reading normal?

Doesn't your tool have an option to "deal with slow responding"?
