Post subject:  Fujitsu doctor and MHT2040AT

Given that this particular tool is quite limited, I just attached a fujitsu MHT2040AT, this drive works good actually but through the Sw i can do practically nothing with it. That drive gets ready, passport ok, sector view ok, but module list is empty. It seems an issue for a non-supported drive but it is listed on a manual though so I guess it should be supported. Any clue?
Thanks in advance

I expect that it won't work with your model, but you could try this:

Thanks for the kind replies back! Actually I'd like to understand why this is not working as it is supposed to. Specifically I don't care about recovering data in this case. Any ideas?

Actually I was tinkering with that doctor trying to evaluate its functions and limitations. Honestly I expected to encounter much more drawbacks with toshiba drives instead of fujitsu ones. I was wrong

I'll take a look into what both of you guys suggested (thanks again), but I want to manage better what is going on here with this doctor before going any further.
So someone has a direct experience with this doctor? :)

Got the point. Anyway I would never support a pirated board, there are people behind these tools, it's just in my personal opinion btw.
Anyway for the sake of learning and sharing to anyone might be interested, I figured out that it was an issue of the software linked to a db (or at least it is what it stated). Mhj mht mhk mhl mhm mhn mho mht, are the families which caught this particular error and in this case i switched to mhr, selected ide, then saved just a couple of modules (got errors with others), lastly switched to mht after that (getting no errors) and able to save the other modules too. Also the other functions seem to work.
The last thing which I still have to figure out is the terminal window that gets no output (baud 19200), enter, ctrl, [, no way to get any output so far

Yes of course i'll do it :)
At the moment just take a look at the fujitsu manual you can grab from here:

The latest doctors are much more limited than the other ones btw, yet also that manual is kind of a presentation and without useful informations unfortunately
