Hi anyone interested in a Maxtor manual for SD HDD Doctor. Contact only by PM supply me with valid email address and I will supply you link to download this book from. It is 200 pages of how to use and repair for the SD Maxtor Doctor. You will receive email with download instructions and a one time only password to download the manual to you.

SD contacted for writing this manual for them but after quite awhile of waiting - plus unkept agreements in this book I now offer it for free. Would rather me to give my work away for free than them.

Very impressive manual. Makes SD's orginal manual look like a childrens coloring book compared to this one. Good job!

Hi

Thanks for your inquiry. I have worked hard on this book and it is for the tool from SD the HD Doctor for Maxtor. If you are a DR company this book is given to you to use with this tool. If you just want this book to try and do DIY then I will charge for this book. I am sorry. The manual will not do you any good what so ever if you do not have this tool to work with it.

I feel this is only fair to all companies who have invested into this tool and need it for their work. If you have a DR company and have an email address for your company please send it to me by PM and I will give you or send you the link to download this manual from. If you do not have the HD Doctor for Maxtor then I will require you to pay for the manual if you want to use it for DIY on your drives. I am sure that everyone will agree with me that if you do have the tool a copy of this manual and all the information inside will not help you to repair your HDD. There are special repair features that will only work with the tool inside of this book. It is not possible to have this book and repair your drives without the tool.

Thank you so much

Where the explanations in previous posts really SO unclear ?

Asking for a company email address ....
but definitely NOT to send a mail address from one of the anonymiser
services like hotmail, google, yahoo etc (this means also any other service
working similar like these - no matter what name they have)
- and also NOT one of a standard local phone or cable company...

Again, it should be the / a company email address - where a download link
will be sent to (kind of proof its not for a DIY request).

This manual is only foreseen for collegues working with the SD tool for Maxtor
drives.

Hello Ann ,
I Have Commented In Salvation DATA forums Also Regarding this ,I Think Its non ethical non justified and unfair that they did not reward you with anything for writing this .I have also requested you to send me the manual ,Last time i could not download the same .

Requests:

I might of made myself unclear on this offer of the manual. I offer this book to

1. All DR companies who have this tool and need it to do your work.
2. Who can supply me with an email address that is not yahoo, hotmail, gmail etc. It should be a company email address for receiving the book. Reason stated previously.

I will not and repeat not offer this book to

1. Just anyone coming to this forum and looking for a DYI solution to fix your drive

You arrive here once ask for help want everything here for free and then walk away. The members on this forum who do this job for a living offer you some advice. They do this on jobs they think that you can handle and not screw up. So this book if you have a tool will benefit you to do your work. If you do not have a tool this book will not help you out at all. If you insist on this book and do not have the tool you will pay for it.

Reason for posting this is that lately I have been receiving a lot of pm from people who sign up read a few post and ask right away for this. If I question them they accuse me of being a scammer and only wanting to build a large mailing list for me and solicite clients for my work.

That one is a laugh to me. I live on an island in the South Pacific and I am the first one to suggest to send your drive to a respective member close to you. I will never ask of anyone to spend the money to send their drive here to me. It is rather expensive and will take a very long time to arrive here to me. I have my own clients here on the islands and do DR work here for them.

This manual is for all DR companies who have the tool to work with and is handed out to them free of charge. All others who want this book will need to pay for it.
