Currently I`m living in England not far from Leeds. Already applied for some positions and would want to either work for a well established company or co-operate with somebody experienced in the DR industry. I am an electrician by trade, done soldering and electronics repairs. Recently bought Deepspar DI (with forensics mod.) ready to invest in more hardware, such as PC 3000. Languages spoken: English, Russian. Send me a PM if interested.
Thanks.

Interesting, another Electrician who wants to get into data recovery. I made that jump some years ago myself. :D

Just don't expect that you're going to make a lot more money, you'll probably make less. But, at least you get to work in a clean air-conditioned environment.

Are you serious? Indeed.com says DR makes on average about $85k a year
Is that not accurate?

Average? Not in the US, for sure.

It seems that most experienced engineers want to get paid $85K without any loyalty to their employer.

Hahhaa, so true. It almost feels like it is worth to pay $85k more for loyalty and the likes rather than the skills.
