What are the functions of the MODs in selfscan? We have several HDDs that stop formatting (bad sectors) How do we hid the bad sectors?

this operation means you don't want data at all
-------------------------------------------------
*for self scan in wd it just use mod 28 and it's some steps to work with surface and rebuild p-list
*self scan modules itself "E modules" contains records for what happen and as logs for p&g list
*about stop formatting you can use logical scan and add to g or p list and then format . if it fail you you can use self scan
