Nowadays the entire world is like small village, why would you prefer the UK ?
but you can try ebay or amazone maybe you'll find a UK seller.

Thank you Jermy,

I found a donor PCB on eBay £16.00 + £8 Shipping from Australia.
There was one slightly cheaper with postage included but it was from China, no problem with that but shipping was going to take several weeks.
I will need to swap the ROM from the patient to donor and hopefully should be able to get to F3>T as long as i haven't blown the actual Preamp. if so i probably wasted my money.

If i could have got the readings i might have saved myself the bother but it still makes for good practice. xD

I could be wrong, so please, any DFL users correct me.
A while ago, I had the opportunity to play a little on DFL. And I remember that quite often on pin shorting, the ZZZZZZMMMMMMMMMMMZ message would come on. Not sure why this was happening, but it did. While on PC3K it did not.

Hi Labtech
Could you tell me how you resolved the issue? was it the Preamp or did the PC3K repair it.

Kind regards
Trev

Sorry, I don't remember. It was a while ago.
And don't think you can solve that problem at this point by undoing the damage. Something weird has changed while you were shorting whatever points you were playing with and it is difficult to understand what is what.
More testing is necessary.

I agree more testing is required. Are you referring to more testing with the DFL-SRP or electrical testing, this is why i asked if anyone reading this has a circuit diagram so i can see what im getting compared to whats happening? If your referring to the DFL what else should i be testing.

Well, the PCB as of right now "seems" to work as far what its core functions. So, I would rule out the PCB being the issue once the donor parts come in.
