Western Digital USB-SATA PCB Package

January 23rd, 2019, 15:08

DFL is offering a package containing "all the compatible SATA PCBs for the most common USB PCBs including USB PCB 701605, 701615, 701635, 701675, 771737, 771754, 771761, 771801, 771814, 771817, 771859, 771961, 80038, 800041(3TB)"

Anyone have any thoughts or input about this? Seems like it may be a good deal if these are actually the most common boards. I'm still waiting for an answer back from them about the price.

It says $185 on that link, which seems pretty reasonable actually.

Somehow I completely missed that. Does anyone have any idea if these boards are actually compatible with the majority of WD USB PCB's? I usually just try to match the MCU, but when I don't have a compatible board in my inventory, it can be irritating that DonorDrives.com doesn't list the MCU for their donor boards.

never purchased them....Best is to ask customers to donate their pcbs if not the whole hdd.
Saves a lot of money and over the period of time, you will have more than required.
