I must say, Einstein I'm impressed. Now for two important questions.

How much are you charging for one of these?
Do you need any "beta testers" or people to test/review the product for you?

Hi again,

Well see, Am selling it on the following Packages (to the law enforcement ONLY, few of my near-by countries):
Based on How many times usage, Example:

100 Times
500 Times
Unlimited

and most of the Auth. got the Unlimited ver.

As for "beta-testers" am sorry to disappoint you here coz I tested it with almost everything and NEVER FAILS
with upto Android v6.x which is more than enough @least for now.

In Biz. people might focus either in Quantity or Quality, for this i target the 2nd.

thank you

Last week, someone called my office here about the Android Screen Terminator product, and he was having some doubts about it
to cut it short here, HE DON'T THINK it works, I told him the following:

You are welcome here in my country Kuwait and BRING all and ANY android mobile with you any Qty.
and i`ll leave you with one of my employees to test ONE BY ONE all of your mobiles BUT:

For every successful screen unlock you will pay 100$ and FOR EVERY FAILED attempt by my product i`ll pay you 500$

luckily he agreed.

I`ll post here the progress of this IF he keeps his word about the visit and the challenge.

Sadly, no one came... they talk a lot but when the time comes few really stand to the end.
Am here, and this is still OPEN as long as am breathing. :horse:

We released the UPDATED ver. of our tool which supports now Android Oreo (upto 8.1.0)

Ref. Article link: http://unixgtc.com/wp/bypass-android-lock-screen-2/

YouTube Demo Video Link here: https://youtu.be/gUBkhZzPHaE

Tested on Google Nexus 6P Android ver. 8.1.0 ( I bought the Mobile mainly to get the latest Updates from google for my research as a Ref.)

and Again, The Challenge is the same and am here.

USB Debugging is OFF, Mobile in FLIGHT MODE

I like it when it works..... :serenade:

USB debugging is off, device is not rooted, has some locked bootloader and encrypted OS and is unavailable over ADB - you can remove screen lock? (From non-google devices also?)

This is very interesting, but I do have some doubts about this solution as described here.... like how MEK is ciphered by KEK of pattern lock like with iDevices.

But it is interesting topic for me :D

On this new video i used a Stop Watch + HD 1080p recording for a reason my dear
which is the following:

I got some emails from many people that the video might be forged/edited and its NOT REAL
Stop Watch to verify its running and there is NO Frame pause at any time and HD 1080p will verify it.

as a matter of fact one of the companies (well known Mobile Forensic tool) emailed me asking for a Demo
I said you are most welcome here in my office and WE WILL RECORD A LIVE YOUTUBE video about it ANY time you choose ...
I have to make this Worth a shot.

Then he never replied back, and i guess you know probably why?

The main Diff. between IOS & Android is that:

Android allows external devices to be attached.. will try to read/mount it.
IOS such as Iphone/Ipad are not, or maybe with limited access to be more specific. (am still working on it)

Download the video in HD, have a look @ the process, (Zoom-in) and you should see it, the only remaining thing later would be the details of the code nothing more

btw, I posted the same post here in Forensic Focus forum and Admin deleted it, the reason was "Our policy says no Product ver. Ads and so"
seems those companies complained or said: How the Hell he did it and we were unable to do till now??? let us kill the Ads. for now and figure what to do next later...

Too bad really.

My WD Smartware Password removal was limited to the Law enforcement only (before)
but Now its Open for the Public (at reasonable price)..

you never know,,, once day i`ll sell it (sure not very soon)

Thank you

Amarbir, just a freindly observation that you sometimes have a direct and abrasive way of communicating. I know we are all different and it is just how you are, unintentional, but some people find it hard to just look past first impression and see what the communiction is really saying. I would get too bent out of shape about it mate

I would like to add here a very important note related to our solution here which many asked and looks i have to make it more clear,,

Our solution Works Only if the Phone is Locked which is actually 2 cases only of Locked Phone:

1st. Case, Suspect Phone is WORKING & Locked only (either by PIN or Pattern) Our solution will help unlocking it.

2nd. Case, Phone is Locked (as in 1st. example) but Switched it OFF , Our solution will not work coz Phone is not 100% working/loaded

So this is for the law enforcement guys who are sending/coming/asking Do Not switch the phone OFF,
leave it running, use power bank if you have to till you deliver it to our Lab.

Hope its clear here

Will try the Latest Update (Android 8.1.0) Aug. Bug Fix with our tool & and post the results soon.

btw, I heard that Android 9 Pie is released for the Google Pixel XL series users, waiting for one of those to test soon,, cannot wait really

Few questions.

May I ask why would it work in the 1st case and it wouldn't in the second?
And how do you know who is in law forensics or not from your clients? Do you have some sort of verification process?
Is your tool available internationally?

Answers,

-1st case works cos the OS is loaded 100% in locked-screen mode (attack works)
-2nd. case doesn`t work (not for All android only the new 6+ SOME of them) coz Secure Boot process prevents other services from loading unless you provide the correct PIN/Pattern

How do i know the law forensics? very easy (they afford the fees), they are very few btw, but worth waiting for.

Is your tool available internationally? >> i did not get it? but usually Those forensics visit us for few days (unlock and have a full dump if they want and leave)
again those are few, very few but really became friends by now, they know... some of them are here and some are in (Forensic Focus forum)

the point is that they don`t want to reveal their ID since the job is done which is important for both

In case that those are not forensic case some of Encrypted phone can be now bypassed by so called flasher dongles/boxex - in case of Samsung a BMT Dongle can solve many of new phones and include Oreo, in case of some Huawei where signed DA is available you can use EFT which bypass by sideload issue, and in case of encrypted QC many cheap dongles support them... I say "not forensic in those cases since we trully don't know what software change" but support PIN, Pattern as well as Passwords not mention about decryption BLs in leatest SW from Cellebrite which are forensicaly sound

You are right here some of those tools works but with my Tools "I really don`t need any Computer or App. or Forensic Tool"
just plug-n-play wait for few seconds (less than a minute mostly) and you are done. which i call it an Advantage here

You need to think how much this solution will worth (as an Add-on) to those Forensic tools if they have it... Am sure a lot no doubt

btw, am a big fan and admire your lab work (I got to know a lot of great stories, am sure one day we will meet)

have a good day

As an update here:

Tested in Latest security patch Aug. 2018 Android 8.1.0 , Works 100% (Nexus 6P)
I see no point of recording new video for that...

Still waiting for Google Android 9 Pie to test it.. (probably will buy Google Pixel Phone within a month to test)

*- USB Debugging OFF
*- Flight Mode (no WIFI or BT)
*- Works with ANY Android ver. (so far tested till 8.1.0)
*- No Computer or Software needed (or any expensive Mobile Forensic Solution needed)

Best of all.. you are done in Less than a Minute (Max. 2min. in some limited cases)

Update here,,

Demonstration on Android 9 Pie with latest security patch update was successful
Works very well,

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gSawPnDSHxc

Test Phone: OnePlus6
OS: Android 9 Pie
Time needed: About 1min

Killing Advantage:

- No Loader/Phone modification is required to terminate the locked screen (you may lock it back just like nothing happened)
- Very Fast, in most cases less than a minute.
- USB Debugging & Developer Options are DISABLED
- Flight Mode (no Wifi or BT connectivity)
- No Computer or software is required to unlock the phone (expensive licensed Apps)
- Works in ANY Android ver. (so far v.9 Android Pie)

:>

Never tried it, but this is really a good subject for me here.

the reason why not tested is that we don`t see BB here a lot maybe 1/10000 very very rare for us. but worth trying

Thank you for bringing this subject will look into it.
